ECFC M93 Green Semi Finalists at Surf College Cup, San Diego, CA
(November 27, 2011 San Diego, CA) Congratulations to ECFC M93 Green on their achievements at the 2011 Surf College Cup this past Thanksgiving weekend. M93 Green is coached by David Smith. Coach Smith has stamped his style of play on the team and taken them to new heights these last 2 years, entering the team in competitive tournaments all season and giving the chance for players to perform for DI-DIII college coaches. In preparation for Surf Cup, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the country, Coach David arranged friendlies with Tynecastle and the Sounders FC Academy team, which the M93 boys won in definitive fashion.
Stay tuned, as ECFC M93 Green will be planning on playing, possibly 2 more tournaments in January and February to close out their successful youth soccer playing careers and make plans to move onto college and college soccer.

ECFC 12th Annual 3v3 Turkey Shoot
(November 26 2011, Seattle, WA) Emerald City FC would like to thank the players and volunteers that made the club’s 12th Annual 3v3 Turkey Shoot such a success this year. Over 100 players from in and around the Seattle area descended on Lower Woodland Park Soccer fields to enjoy a fun packed day. The weather was cloudy but dry, perfect for soccer and hot chocolate. The countless volunteers, whom without these events could not take place arrived in droves to help set up fields, referee games, sign in players and distribute water and snacks. Thanks also go to all the ECFC coaches, who took time out to referee games and help organize the event.
Emerald City FC hopes everyone who took part had a great time and we hope to see you all again next year! ECFCs next event will be the Holiday Indoor Jamboree at Arena Sports Magnusson on 12/20. Stay tuned for more details.
